Tomorrow morning bright and early we are headed home to Clear Lake City, to our home less than 3 miles from Galveston Bay. I pray we have a home to come home to. I expect we do, but we have no way of knowing for sure. Pictures from areas all around us show devastation beyond belief - a true disaster area. I expect we have some damage, I just don't know how much. I know we do not have power as of right now (8:30 Saturday night). The not knowing is killing us. The drive home will be a long one.

The not knowing is so hard. I have been praying without ceasing for ya'll.
Keep positive thoughts foremost on your mind. You know I'm here for you. For which I praise God for that! Man. I pray it's more than another 25 years before this happens again.
Praying... for your trip back home, and... everything else... {{hugs}}
We're also headed back in the morning. Our home seems to be okay, except the fence, according to a family member and a neighbor. I would like to have stayed if it weren't for having no power. Have a safe return, and let us know how things are.
Keeping you and so many other Texan friends in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. May He strengthen and sustain you as you deal with what's ahead. Hoping with all my might that your damage won't be too great.
Am relieved to hear that you and your family are safe!

Just checking in... you are probably without power, but when you get this - know you are on my mind and in my prayers {{hugs}}
keeping you in our prayers.....
The not knowing sucks but I bet y'all were ok. Let us know when you can.
*UPDATE:
They are ok, their house is ok. Praise God! They are without power tho. Hopefully for not too much longer.
I cannot imagine. I am so sorry. Please update when you get the chance. I'll check in often to hear from you. Hugs and more hugs your way. I'm thankful you're physically okay, hopeful your home is workable. xoxo
