If you've ever been to Disney World and eaten at Casey's Corner in the Magic Kingdom, then you've seen these guys hanging around. I have no idea what kind of bird this is, but he is waiting patiently for someone to toss him a french fry or a piece of hot dog bun. Despite the big signs that say "DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS", people do anyway. And those smart birds know that those dumb people are going to feed them, so Casey's Corner is their corner, too!

It bugs me that people feed the animals. I *almost* posted a pic of an orangutan begging for food after some people fed him at the zoo. But I didn't, this week. ;) Anyway, do they not realize they could potentially be killing them?
He's pretty neat looking don't get caught feeding the birds.
an interesting looking bird.. it looks like he has boots or leggings on!
What an unusual looking bird. I love the red face and beak! Very nice shot.
I love his long pink legs which match the beak and face! What a cute looking bird. Hope he doesn't get fed too much - it will spoil him.
what did you give him??sk
Awesome! My own Camera Critter today is a scarlet ibis taken at Disney's Animal Kingdom. :D I get really annoyed at the dumb people that feed the birds at Disney World. They're unfortunately reinforcing an undesirable behavior and it's not the poor animal's fault but eventually Disney will remove them for being a nuisance to guests. It's just cruel to feed them, even though most guests would disagree.

PS - meant to tell you, yours is a white ibis (pronounced EYE-bis).

He's certainly a neat looking bird! I'd probably be a sucker and feed him too.

Beautiful white ibis. It is a shame that people can't follow simple rules that are plainly posted.
That's a great picture! I've eaten at Casey's, so I'm sure I've seen him or one of his relatives, but I had no idea what kind of bird it was, either.
Dang, b/s he looks like a statue. What beautiful white feathers!
Fantastic photo, to bad he will have to pay for people's ignorence.
