Ah, the home perm. The answer to all life's straight hair problems. No more sleeping in curlers! No more losing the curl within hours! These curls were PERMANENT.
Now, last week I said my hair is ridiculously straight, which is true, but it is also ridiculously thick. So the perm - well, I had finally achieved that Big Hair that all Texas girls aspire to!
Sometimes those curls got unruly.
And sometimes they were downright out of control.
This is Bubba's Mom's dog, Charlie. Anyone see a resemblance??

I was going through the pics, thinking, "what on earth is she going on about?". Then, I reached the last picture. Yeah, while I don't see a resemblance to Charlie, that was pretty out of control. ;) You're still quite the hawtie tho!
I think Charlie's hair was more out of control than yours. Very fun! I have BAD perm pics myself.
This is too funny. I've got my own problems with my hair and humidity. Who needs a barometer to tell them when the humidity gets high...they should just check out my hair!

My hair is ridiculously naturally curly. At least you got to leave your perms behind! My hair nearly drove me over the edge getting ready to go out tonight :-)
LOL...I have pictures like these. Thing is, this was the hair everyone aspired to have so we HAD to do it. My poor hair for about a ten year period was so out of control so I am feeling ya.
