I'm sorting and cleaning this week, preparing to pack for our move. And I've found things that I forgot I even had! I cleaned out my desk and found a bunch of the kids' old school papers and stuff - and this priceless gem, a list Princess Daughter made when she was about 7 years old of the Rules of Royal (I tried to scan it but Blogger won't upload the picture, so I'm typing it just as she wrote it in her 7-year-old hand):
- sit up straight
- were nice clothes
- aways were your crown
- be wise
- be creative
- listen good
- act good
- take tiny steps
- learn
- look
- have pets
- ride in a carriage
- have pretty horses
- aways have a garden
- have good manners
- be nice to everyone
As I do most all of these things, surely I must be royal.

Oh how cute! I love the were nice clothes one.
Isn't that what it boils down to? I got a giggle from the "take tiny steps."
Why, I do believe I'm royal too! She is precious, then & now.
Totally adorable. This is something that needs to be kept forever.
I, too, liked that they "take tiny steps.". :o)
Precious! And somewhat wise for a 7 year old, eh?
Love it! Stuuupid Blogger, I want to see the picture....but it's still adorabe. I'm afraid I will not be a Royal anytime soon. But you still hang with me, why is that?! xoxo
Stacey, you can borrow one of my crowns and ride in my carriage anytime!
I wonder how many of those Prince Charles could check off??
I love #10. That's the best!
