Camera Critters #15

Look what came with the new house! Critters! If you can't tell, that is a possum. There were actually TWO of them in the backyard the other night, but by the time I grabbed the camera and got out there, only this guy was visible (and he was hiding pretty well, thus the poor quality picture....). The other one was quite large, I tell you. Quite large. Gave me the willies. Ick. I don't care what anyone says (Misty Dawn!) possums are NOT cute!

Nope, not cute at all, I agree. Freaky, scary, mean critters! Creepy picture!

hahaha, sorry... I think the contrary :)... but ok, we don't have possums neither in Romania, nor Austria... Happy Sunday!

Thanks, B/S, Alex is doing much much better and the swelling is almost gone. It actually got much worse after that photo for about a day then started to go down. Poor fella. xoxo

My mother-in-law once woke up, after falling asleep on the sofa, to see one creeping across the kitchen floor. Seems he had dug a hole in the screen door! Now me, I would have run outside screaming. She went back to sleep.

Sis: Did you get them to play possom? They do have big teeth for an oversize rat.

And they do have lots of teeth too! I found a big one on the fence in my backyard a few years ago. A very unusual sight to see in Toronto!

Hehehehehe - what are you trying to say about me? My dad has raised all kinds of various wild animals... He told me my grandma used to always tell him "Those are really ugly, Son. I'm surprised God made such ugly creatures."

Oh wow that is a scary looking thing you got there, have you ever seen the teeth on those? There wicked

most wildlife is cute when they are at a distance. once they invade your space they are not so cute anymore.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hate opossums. They squick me out like a teenage girl finding her dad in his boxers watching "adult entertainment." Blech!

I know, I may have been a little subtle about my feelings. It's a flaw of mine.

One got in our laundry room b/c I had an automatic cat feeder out there. I noticed we were going through cat food really quickly. It creeped me out. They look so icky!
