I present to you - prepare yourself, Martha - the Hillbilly End Table:
And there goes Martha, fainted dead-away into the floor. Roll her away from that doggie pee-pee stain, will you?
Of course, this isn't an end table at all. It's a TV tray. You probably figured that out. The sad thing is, it is almost always there. Along with its partner in crime, Hubby's TV tray, which sits at the end of the other couch. You see, we're all about family here at the Bubba's Sis household, and we like to always eat our meals together as a family. But it would be a travesty if we were to miss any of our prime-time TV shows, so we eat - as a family! - in front of the TV. Good bonding time, I tell ya. Oh, I do occasionally fold them up and hide them somewhere if we're having fancy company or something, but then we just have to get them out again....so generally this is where they stay.
If you'd like to play along - and you know you do - leave a comment here and over at Sarah's place so we can all feel better about our Hillbilliness. Thankyouverymuch.

Ha! Martha probably doesn't even know what a tv tray is. I wish I could have a meal on a tv tray--that sounds like a vacation. An uninterrupted meal. A tv I want to watch. Wow.
Hey, we have some end tables just like those!!
We do too! We love out tv trays!!!
I took a picture to post for this Hillbillity-ness. I just need to get to it!
I saw your comment on Prettens, etc... on the Wordle posting small. I had the same problem when I tried to post it. So... I took a screen shot and made it a picture - that was the only way I could make it big... Hmmm... maybe I could have used another phrase... Oh well:)
Oh my gawd, I'm laughing so hard, I woke Mr. Clairol. You crack me up, girl.
I love your household decor.. and we have the same end tables! Who would've imagined! We eat our meals together in front of the TV too.... but Bob and I normally are in our recliners with the leg rest up :) We've gotten REALLY good at balancing plates!!!
What? There's something wrong about end table TV trays? Yikes. Keep Martha far away from our house.
