I love, love, love cobalt glass. So imagine my delight when I came across these goodies at a shop in Galveston:
The smaller one is an old Bromo-Seltzer bottle, but I'm not sure what the other one is. It looks like it could have had a note in it and been thrown out to sea by someone in search of rescue....or love. What stories this bottle could tell!

I love old bottles too and I love the cobalt blue...very special :)
Beautiful bottles! Did you know that if you keep a rose in water in a blue bottle it will easily grow roots and you can plant it in your garden and enjoy the rose for many years? My sister has tried this and I have seen her roses.
I love cobalt blue glass too. My friend has a whole collection of old vicks bottles. You bottles are very nice.
These are neat! I really love the size and shape of the little Bromo-Seltzer bottle.
I have a small collection of cobalt glass. Love the color! :)
ulla, that's genius. I never heard that. I may have to sneak back to the house I grew up in to see if the old roses are still there.
Bubba's Sis, this is becoming my favorite weekly of yours.
Beautiful, colorful accents!
I love cobalt glass too. The bottles you have are very nice. Great find!
I adore the color of these bottles. And yes, wouldn't you love to read the note that might have been tucked inside the taller one.
What a beautiful blue color. Cobalt blue glass bottles are the best.
Your cobalt blue glass bottles
are beautiful, do you have any idea
how old they might be? The long
tall one is really neat!

Those are beautiful. I love blue glass as well, though with the wee ones, my collection is in hiding. I'll live vicariously.

I love cobalt blue, too. In fact, I have that a bottle like the one on the left in your photo. I got it in Wiscasset, Maine for four dollars several years ago.
