I like to fancy myself a photographer. Of course, I am far from it. D... is a much better photographer than I am, but I think it's because she has a fancier camera. When we went to Disney last year she let me borrow her fancy camera, and I have to admit, my pictures did look better than usual....
I like to try to get "different" shots, especially at Disney because we've been so many times that all our pictures start looking the same. As I was scrapbooking our last Disney trip Hubby said, "Why don't you just use all the pictures from the last trip? They look the same!" How rude.
So I decided to try some new stuff this last time, taking full advantage of the fancy camera I had around my neck. I wanted to get a pic of my kids with the Epcot ball behind them - like the WHOLE ball, not just the side of it. So I got lower. And lower. And soon enough I ended up like this:
Flattering, no? I think the picture came out pretty good, tho, despite the fact that Little Son is looking at me like I'm a giant doofus.

We'll be in Disneyworld next week :-) My son would shoot me on the spot if I did that. But then he's almost 13 so it takes next to nothing for him to want to do away with me - lol. I'm going to show him this blog and threaten him with it!
I am so not the better photographer! But I like that you think so. ;)
Now I see why my pics all look the same! I've just been standing in front of my subject. I'm going to change my perspective, haha.
I do this. And I suspect my Tongginator will give me that same look one of these days. I have, however, learned to avoid doing this while wearing a skirt. Good times!
I do the same thing, and I wonder what the other people are thinking about me when I do this. :)
Way to sacrifice your body for the perfect shot!!! hee, hee.
I have never tried that angle before...maybe you're on to something!
what we do for a great shot and hey that's one worth taking at the ticket cost there!
Hey, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do to get the good shot. And yours is nice!
great pic!
