They're gardenias, and I have a giant bush in the back yard that is covered in them - so many blooms that the branches are bowing down from their weight! The smell is heavenly - I pick them and put them all around my house!
Gardenias make me think of my mother. She always said that when she died she wanted her head to rest on a pillow of gardenias - and that's exactly how we fixed them for her. In the 1940's it was the fashion when you went out in the evening to wear a gardenia in your hair. I have pictures of her like that. Nothing smells as sweet as gardenias.

What are those, jasmines? If they are, oh boy, do I want to smell them! It's my favourite flower ever, and they don't have any here in Canada.
Here is my WW post for today.
Have a great WW day!

I could handle some gardenias in my house. They look beautiful!
Gardenias are my favorite flower! I really wish I had a bush of them. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful they are and why I love them so. Happy WW
Gardenias? My fave time to smell them is the warm summer evenings, the scent hangs thick in the air.
