Congratulations to Navy Son, who graduates from the Naval Academy Prep School in Newport, Rhode Island today and accepts his appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland! We are so proud of you, son!
I am a GRITS (Girl Raised In The South), a 3rd generation Texan with roots in Mississippi and Tennessee. I have a wonderful husband and three great kids - a son in the Navy, an daughter studying Theatre at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and a son who plays trombone in the high school band. My mom is a three-time survivor of breast cancer - a disease that affects mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends - please click on the link below to help fund mammograms for women who can't afford them!
