I finally figured out how to keep that naughty squirrel out of my bird feeder - SAFFLOWER SEEDS! Birds love 'em, squirrels hate 'em! Yay!

You're too devious for me, BS. Idk, anyone who can outwit a squirrel, I need to treat you well. Happy CC....sigh, I haven't gotten mine up, off to do that now. xoxoxo
Hooray for a cure! Take that little squirrel....mwahahaha
i must remember that
What a great idea and a cute picture. Must remember that tip!
Hopefully that squirrel will still come around so you can get good pics of it. But, I doubt it - it's probably really ticked about this whole situation ;-)
very lovely:)
Hello Mr Squirrel!
I love how he has his back turned to the feeder. He looks annoyed :)
WOW super idea THANKS, great photo
OH and the poor thing goes hungry, have you no food for him
I never imagined a squirrel turning down any food at all! I wonder if red squirrels would say no, too. This is pretty interesting.
A picky eater squirrel. I have picky eater grandkids, but never heard of a picky eater squirrel.
I'd love to photograph a quirrel. Oh, nuts!
I really don't have too many problems with squirrels. Come to think about it. I've never seen a squirrel in my yard (and I live in the country!). I do however have a problem with the black birds eating on my bird food. Got any ideas for that?
Yay! No more riduculously fat squirrels!
Great shot! I didn't know that about different kinds of seeds, I thought they liked them all! Luckily, we put up a corn cob feeder for the squirrels a while back (added bonus: my dog loves to "hunt" squirrels all day, so it keeps him occupied!), and since they have the corn, the squirrels haven't bothered my seed feeders in a while.
That's an awesome shot :)
Squirrels are so dang cute (and smart!)
