Cooking has just never been my thing, ya'll. I'm not good at it, and I don't enjoy it. My favorite thing to make for dinner? Reservations! (Ba dump dump!)
As a little girl, I did a lot of pretending - I loved playing dress-up and pretending to be a mommy with all my dolls, or a cowgirl riding my "horse" (which was really my bike). I never pretended to be cooking, tho. I didn't stand at my mother's knee and watch her prepare our meals, learning each step as she did it. I didn't have a little toy kitchen with pots and pans of my own. No, even as a child I knew better. When it was pretend time? I ate out.
"Yes, I'm ready to order."

You were so blonde! And terribly cute, of course.
I LOVE it! Do you think if I had done that, I'd have an excuse now?
What an adorable child you were! I love to cook, but you are right. We need people for all the roles.
I still play pretend cooking/eating. It's fun as long as I don't have to do the cooking, only the eating!
Very cute! And you don't have to do the dishes! Love it!
What a cute story! Restaurant owners everywhere are thankful. :)
Ha! Adorable! My kids can play for HOURS with their friends as waiters and waitresses. Not me, I just place my order!
I agree with and relate to every word!!
Hey, you gotta be who you are!
Love it. Somehow you are related to my twin sister. Who still, to this day, does not cook much.
I know you were blond. I've seen countless pictures. Yet, it still throws me off to see that blond hair!
I was in a different state playing right along with you.
You remind me of ME!
I never pretended to cook OR eat - though I do love to eat, especially when someone else has cooked it for me!
Oh, and I love the hat! It's perfect for the occasion!
Aren't you so adorable?
Don't apologize! :) Loved the joke about making reservations!
Take care
Julie
