"Never say never" is a pretty good motto, but I did come up with a good list of
Ten Things I'll Never Do Again:
- wear a white bathing suit
- get so drunk I puke
- get an adjustable-rate-mortgage
- get pregnant
- smoke a cigarette (for the record, I only ever tried it ONE TIME)
- evacuate Houston with millions of other people running from a hurricane
- shave in the bikini area
- work for a lawyer
- buy fudge for Hubby (I did this several times before I remembered he doesn't like fudge!)
- watch the Astros play in the Astrodome

Awwww, I'm all nostalgic about the Astrodome, now! Great list! And I did NOT do #6, and I won't do it next time, either. If I'm goin' down, I'm goin' down in my hometown.
Well, I can totally understand the Evacuation 'never do again'....only because of the slip-shod way of handling a crisis situation on Rita's sorry story!!
And our son was in that mess trying to get here! Luckily he waited a bit too long for my nerves, but he said it was clear going out of the city by then.
Well gee, #10 is no fun cuz everyone can say that! My question is why anyone would watch the Astros anyway? My favorite Astrodome elements are from the movies actually, the Friday Night Lights decision to play the state championship game there, and the famous "Let them play!" scene from The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training.
Also, in retrospect, I have never worn nor plan to wear a white bathing suit, smoke a cigarette (tried as a teen, no benefit for me), um shaving a bikini area? Not a bikini wearer, I like fudge, and boy do I have the drinking story from just a week ago (puking and everything!)

Yes, perhaps we'd want to watch the Astros because we are not fair-weather fans. They were in the World Series not that long ago...

I'm doomed for #8 - been working for lawyers for over 10 years, been working for this current one for seven years and he's become one of my best friends (believe it or not!).
So who did eat the fudge? Someone ate the fudge. Who???
Why, *I* ate the fudge, of course!! No sense letting perfectly good fudge to to waste!

I meant no offense, but of course the Astros were a spoiler (last year or two years back) for the Phillies in their wild card chase.
This is a fun weekend for me as the Braves are in Philly so the games are all on TV and they're important games for the NL east race and the wildcard race.
Boy, I'd love to hear some of the background on #6 and #8. I'm 100% with you on many of the others. Except #9 sounds like a good thing to keep forgetting, if you like fudge yourself.
