That's another one of those dates that I will forever remember where I was when I heard the news. I still have the 'scrapbook' where I collected articles about her when I was like 11 years old. A beautiful person, inside and out. She's still missed.
I see someone already commented what I'm going to do. Learning about her sudden death was one of those moments where I'll always remember how I learned the news. She was an amazing person.
I am a GRITS (Girl Raised In The South), a 3rd generation Texan with roots in Mississippi and Tennessee. I have a wonderful husband and three great kids - a son in the Navy, an daughter studying Theatre at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and a son who plays trombone in the high school band. My mom is a three-time survivor of breast cancer - a disease that affects mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends - please click on the link below to help fund mammograms for women who can't afford them!
