A letter I received in the mail the other day:
Dear Bubba's Sis,
We are a company that matches interested people with clinical trials (also known as research studies). We are currently working with a pharmaceutical company to find women who are interested in participating in a clinical trial for the treatment of hot flushes.
As a doctor, I know that women with hot flushes can feel sudden sensations of heat accompanied by sweating. Hot flushes can even disrupt sleep and leave you tired and irritable the next day.....
You may be eligible to participate.....blah blah blah.....

WTF? I'm still in my 30's (barely, but I am!). I know I am hawt, but it doesn't come in flashes yet! And there is no cure for Hawtness. I'm just sayin'.

Sounds kind of like what happened to me a couple years ago. i started getting stuff from a company saying they were sorry to hear that I had cancer but now that I was on my way to recovery and on a certain medication, they wanted to stay with me through the process. HUH? I didn't even have cancer!

A few years ago I got ones for women who weren't trying to have children for something like 3-5 years. Then got ones for women having trouble conceiving. Neither on made po' single cjh feel better about the situation. :o)

I've got a waaaaaaaaaaay off topic thought... so I'm just gonna put it in this comment, because I've been thinking about it for a LONG time - I'm thinkin' you and D... need to make a book - you do the writing and she does the photography - I'm telling you - it would be AWESOME!
