To me, one of the greatest things in the world is laughter. It always feels good to laugh - a giggle or a chuckle can be fun, a belly-laugh refreshing, but the best is the laugh-til-your-sides-hurt-and-the-tears-are-streaming-down-your-face laugh. You know the ones I'm talking about - the ones that border on hysteria and you feel like you might pee in your pants. Those are the best.
Last night we went out to dinner because I just didn't feel like cooking. We were all tired, and we settled into the booth to look at our menus when our waitress walked up and asked us for our drink order. And she sounded exactly like Roz from Monsters, Inc. When she walked away the giggles started. Then I started talking like her and the belly laughs began. Then every time she would come to our table and talk to us, Little Son and I would look at each other and try to stifle our laughter until she walked away. Soon we were laughing so hard we couldn't even finish our meals. I literally had tears in my eyes. It was a hilarious evening.
So when's the last time you had a really good laugh??

Last time I laughed like this was when Tammy and I each turned on our webcams for the first time. I'd make a funny face, and we'd both laugh... then we'd see the other person laughing and we'd laugh harder... it just escalated until I couldn't breathe, had tears streaming down my face, and my sides hurt... it was awesome! hehe
Same here except! Misty is my best friend and some one I can always count on to make me laugh and brighten my day.
It was when my friend, Cat (who used to blog but doesn't now) was new to our church. She was asked to take a mic and say scripture in church while the music softly played. But instead, the mic didn't work, and because she was still seated, nobody knew she had it. So she was talking and people were looking at her like "who is that nut job over there talking while the music is playing?"
OHHH I'm still laughing about that. Now THAT was funny. Maybe in a had to be there way, idk. xo
My last tear provoking laugh was about a month ago. I had spent the day at a hand bell conference and when I came home my husband asked me about my day. Some creative person had provided sugar cookies shaped like hand bells. To me, they looked like a certain male anotomical feature. I don't think anyone else thought so though so I kept it inside all day. when my husband asked how the day went, I shared with him about the cookies. He cracked up and it turned into a three hour pun fest in relation to the cookies.
..the last time my husband tried to dance sexy for me...Can you say "Farley"? O.M.G.
The Boyfriend and I were talking about this the other day and it seems we always forget why we were laughing so hard... But I did have a job interview with Roz from Monsters, Inc. once. Yeah...
I can never remember why I laugh hard. My hubby, my kids, and you are usually the ones involved when I do tho.
Like in the Barnes & Noble, D - or outside the Chili's.....
