Bubba's Dad has a bit of a scheduling conflict tomorrow - his Baptist Sunday school class is having a special Maundy Thursday communion at one of the members' houses. It's also the meeting of the Keg of the Month Club that he's been enjoying the past few months. Oh, what to do?
I told him he should go to the Keg of the Month Club, leave a little early, and show up at his Sunday school class with beer on his breath, slurring, "Is it Maundy, or is it Thursday??"

I wanted to go with Dad to this month's keg of the month, but I'm stuck here in NYC for another few days. And, it snowed this morning, April 5th, snow.
I didn't think Baptist knew what Maundy Thursday was. I didn't until we went to HPUMC, and then I remember not believing it was real.
OH. Austin went to a Lutheran School...they have Easter Monday. I had no clue what that was...
Um, isn't he not supposed to drink, being a good Baptist and all?

BTW, he DID choose to go to Communion rather than Keg of the Month. I think he was hoping they'd have real wine there...

katielady, you know why Baptists tend to be pigeon toed, right? It's because they've all been hiding in the closet drinking their beer. The Baptists with walk-in closets don't have the problem.
I need to get a place with walk-in closets.
