Doggie Breath
Today my puppy (OK, he's a year old, but to me he's still a puppy) ate up daughter's tube of American Girl lip gloss - Chocolate Mint flavored. Now every time he comes into the room I smell it! Sure beats Dog Breath!
I must say "knock on wood" first...but Chili-Dog (chocolate lab who will be one year old on April 28th) hasn't chewed on household items since he lost his baby teeth. We had puppy arms from the time we got him last July until those sharp little teeth were all replaced by those beautiful big adult teeth. Speaking of puppy teeth ~ I have about six or seven of his puppy teeth I found here & there in the house ~ saved them in a little bottle! Have lots of kitten teeth too that I've saved over the years. Thank goodness for those big, hard bones ~ he chews the daylights out of those and leaves our stuff alone.
I am a GRITS (Girl Raised In The South), a 3rd generation Texan with roots in Mississippi and Tennessee. I have a wonderful husband and three great kids - a son in the Navy, an daughter studying Theatre at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and a son who plays trombone in the high school band. My mom is a three-time survivor of breast cancer - a disease that affects mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends - please click on the link below to help fund mammograms for women who can't afford them!

If he's still eating random things he's not supposed to, he's still a puppy.
I think he's becoming a teenager dog. He's been especially destructive this week. Maybe it's time for a little "surgery"....
